Classic Old Muscle Cars

Old Muscle Cars ..nothing rivals the old muscle cars of the 1960’s and early 1970’s for power and style. In many ways the GTO’s, Mustangs, Corvettes and others represent American character and swag better than any other cars ever made. Simple, dependable, power and individuality is what old muscle cars are known for. They were big, powerful old muscle cars,  not the puny sports cars of today. What these muscle cars lacked in sophistication, they made up in performance.
The current generation of performance muscle cars are more geared toward safety, comfort, reliability and, yes, performance. But it does not explain the current interest in and rising values of classic old muscle cars. These cars have a particular hold on the generation of the 1960’s and continues throughout today with many car enthusiasts. Many people are not only buying old muscle cars for looks, power, and coolness..but as investments to make a profit.

An example of rising prices of old muscle cars is the 1970 Dodge Hemi Cuda. This muscle car sold for around $4,000 new and today you can get $150,000. Thats a 10% annual return. Not return considering the stock market has returned 7.4% annual over the same time frame. Similarly, and 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS convertible with a 454ci engine sold for $4,200 new and will cost around $115,000 today. A 1969 Boss Mustang originally cost $4,150 and today trades for $115,000. Thats also about a 10% return.

It doesn’t matter if you want a cool old muscle car to drive and impress, or as an investment, you are in the right place to find best deals and prices on old muscle cars.
